Friday 5 September 10.30am The First Friday outing in September will be a visit to Staveley Nature Reserve, Bring a snack for lunch, and some money to buy a drink afterwards in the Royal Oak. Park at the roadside near the Royal Oak HG5 9LD. Meet in front of the Royal Oak at 10.30am.
Friday 5 September 7pm Captain of the Lost waves.com (aka Shaun Hunter) is appearing,, for one night only, at The Grove Inn, Back Row, Leeds LS11 5PL.
Sunday 7 September 10.30am Stuarts Walk At Dacre Banks
Tuesday 9 September 2pm The Central Leeds Bar Afternoon The Scribbling Mill is at White Rose Centre, Dewsbury Road, Leeds LS11 8LU which has free parking and a good bus service.
Thursday 11 September 10am onwards Coffee in Bramhope Meet Clare and Brian in The Bramhope Deli at the bottom of Tredgold Avenue
Saturday 13 September 2.30pm Harrogate Theatre John Godber's 'Black Tie Ball'. Tickets are £19 or £23 depending how soon we book.
Sunday 14 September 10.15am The Walking Treasure Hunt this year is taking place in Leeds Please meet outside The Queens Hotel, City Square from 10.15am so that everyone can be away by 10.45am. It is The cost is £2 per person - cash please.
Tuesday 16 September 10.45am Leeds Waterfront Walk Last month’s Waterfront Walk was oversubscribed. So as not to disappoint anyone, Rosemary will lead it again on Tuesday, 15thSeptember. Meet from 10.45 at Bruschetta café on the middle floor in Leeds Corn Exchange ready to set off at 11.15.
Thursday 18 September 10.30am Third Thursday Coffee/Brunch/Lunch at Wetherspoons in Knaresborough from 10.30am
Thursday 18 September 12.30 and 1.30 IVC Committee Meeting to be held at The Harewood Arms. The meeting will start at 1.30pm but some of the committee members may take lunch at the pub beforehand at 12.30 and members would be very welcome at both events.
Friday 19 September 2pm The Harrogate Book Group We will be discussing the book 'Absolutely and Forever' by Rose Tremain.
Sunday 21 September 10.30am Stuarts Walk Details Later
Monday 22 September 12.30pm Join Helen and Neil for lunch at Whitelocks Ale House, off Briggate, in Leeds city centre. They shall probably visit another pub/bar after the meal.
Thursday 25 September 12.30 Next ideas meeting, to be held in Weetons cafe in the garden centre on Leeds Road after Pannal ( was Crimple beck) 36 bus stops nearby.

Wednesday 1 October 6 and 7pm Leeds Book Group at Harewood Arms discussing The Essex Serpent by Sarah Perry. If you would like eat beforehand at 6pm
Thursday 2 October 10.30am onwards Coffee Morning at The Tiled Hall Cafe, Leeds Art Gallery Meet Peter at the Tiled Hall cafe for drinks and cakes and chat. If the cafe is closed as sometimes happens we will be in Browns at the corner of Cookridge St and The Headroom.
Friday3- Monday 6 October IVC Weekend Away Cober Hill Cober Hill is a hotel in Cloughton, nr Scarborough adjacent to both coast and N.Yorks Moors.
Saturday 11 October 7-9pm HELIOS - ILLUMINATED SCULPTURE AT FOUNTAINS ABBEY This event is being organized by Sylvia from Halifax and Huddersfield IVC, and is therefore a great opportunity to meet some of their members, in addition to spending a lovely evening in such an iconic setting.
