| Janet is proposing to start a ‘Friday Outing’ on a regular basis, initially on the 1st Friday of the month; this could be indoors or outdoors, covering a multitude of topics, or it could simply be a walk.
I’m kicking off with a visit to the Hepworth Gallery, Wakefield, on Friday December 6.
Naturally there’s a Barbara Hepworth theme, but there are also other exhibitions on, and the one she’s interested in is called ‘Forbidden Territories: 100 Years of surreal landscapes’
There’s an entry charge for the exhibitions, which is £12.50 for pensioners. This allows access to other exhibitions too.

| You are invited to join me for a walk/stroll of about 3 to 4 miles around Shadwell before visiting the Hard Book Café for lunch. We will meet at 11am outside the Red Lion Pub on Main Street Shadwell.
Parking is possible on Main Street or Holywell Lane. Alternatively the number 7A bus from Leeds city centre stops near the meeting point.
