April 2025 Time Event Details
Tuesday 1 7.15pm Colour of Light at Heart, Headingley, Leeds Local five piece folk-style band. Tickets from heartcentre.org.uk £6-£10
Thursday 3 1.30pm IVC Committee Meeting At the Harewood Arms. All welcome
Friday 4 10.30am First Friday of the Month Outing This will be a walk at Golden Acre Park.
Sunday 6 10.30am Stuarts walk is at Dacre Bank. Parking ( if possible) & meeting in car park opposite Royal Oak pub ready for a 10.30 start.
Wednesday 9 10.03 Ilkley Moor Walk As part of the aIVC conference Neil Barrett has arranged a Walk on Ilkley Moor, approx. 7 miles and involving some steep ascents. Walking boots and outdoor, waterproof clothing essential. Also, a packed lunch and drink. Will probably visit a café afterwards.
11-13 2.30 and 7.30pm Hindle Wakes Play Classic comedy-drama Hindle Wakes is performed by Red Wall Theatre at Harrogate St Roberts Club
Friday 11 8pm Megson Feat, John Parker - Otley Courthouse A folk duo teamed up with a double bass player.
Thursday 17 10.30am Third Thursday Coffee/Brunch/Lunch at Wetherspoons in Knaresborough.
Thursday 17 10.30am Midweek Walk Rawdon - 5 1/2 miles Join Suzanne for a 5 1/2 mile walk from Rawdon traffic lights down through Cragg Woods and along the canal.
Tuesday 22 2pm The Central Leeds Bar Afternoon will be held at the Scribbling Mill (Wetherspoons). The Scribbling Mill is at White Rose Centre, Dewsbury Road, Leeds LS11 8LU which has free parking and a good bus service.
Tuesday 22 6pm Leeds Book Group at Harewood Arms discussing Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.
Thursday 24 10.30am Coffee Morning at The Tiled Hall Cafe, Leeds Art Gallery Meet Peter at the Tiled Hall cafe for drinks and cakes and chat. If the cafe is closed as sometimes happens we will be in Browns at the corner of Cookridge St and The Headroom.
Friday 25 1.15pm The Harrogate Book Group. We will be discussing the book 'Mum and Dad' by Joanna Trollop.
